Police Probe into the Alleged Murder of Lebanese Businessman in Kenema


The Sierra Leone Police have launched an investigation into the tragic death of Lebanese businessman Salim Alie Dayeck, who was found dead at his residence along Hangha Road, Kenema, in the early hours of Wednesday, September 11, 2024. The incident has sent shockwaves through the Kenema community, where Dayeck was a well-known and respected figure.


Sub-Inspector Brima James Musa confirmed that a suspect is currently in custody, providing assistance with the investigation. However, Musa refrained from confirming widespread rumors that the perpetrator may have been an employee of the victim.
